Fubar - Eye of the Storm (Oldies but Goodies)

About the Project

These tracks were recorded between roughly 2001 and 2005, during a period when making music felt especially spontaneous and fun. A lot of my friends were involved in Hip Hop at the time, so we were constantly getting together in person, drinking, recording, and creating whatever came naturally.

I still enjoy making music just as much today, but the experience is different. I no longer have as many friends around me who are actively making music or even heavily involved in Hip Hop. Over time, that local circle has been replaced by an international network of artists. I have also been fortunate to collaborate with a wide range of talented MCs, DJs, and beatmakers from different places and backgrounds.
