About the Release
Tanec Tapes is a beat tape from Dutch producer Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha, built around samples taken from a Macedonian cassette.
The A-side and B-side of the cassette were provided by fellow Dutch producer Frietboer. Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha then flipped the original audio into a collection of new soundscapes, transforming material from the Yugoslav era into something entirely different.
The result is a sample-driven audio journey through Macedonian sounds, filtered through Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha's production style.
