About Radio Zero
Radio Zero is an independent hip-hop and R&B program hosted by Mofohari, combining music, interviews, and discussion with a focus on both established voices and artists working outside the mainstream.
Broadcasting Saturday nights at 11 PM Eastern, the show brings together a wide range of guests, from hip-hop veterans and industry icons to emerging independent artists, authors, and others with something worthwhile to contribute to the conversation.
Radio Zero’s roots in supporting independent artists and the hip-hop community reach back to 2009, while Radio Zero itself was founded in 2012. Over the years, the platform has continued to give independent releases space alongside hip-hop classics while building an archive of artist interviews, conversations, and themed broadcasts.
The format is built around more than simply playing records. Music, history, commentary, and artist perspectives all share space, giving listeners a place to discover new work while hearing directly from the people involved in the culture.

Live Shows & Archives
Listeners can join Radio Zero during the live Saturday broadcast through the show’s online episode page and chatroom. After the broadcast, episodes are added to the station archive, where previous shows can be streamed or downloaded.
The archive includes artist interviews, independent releases, hip-hop classics, and special broadcasts, making it useful both for discovering new artists and catching conversations that may have been missed live.
Artists & Guests
Radio Zero also accepts inquiries from artists and potential guests interested in appearing on the program, guest hosting, or sharing something with the audience.
For interview consideration, the station requests a photo, biography, and two songs. When possible, artists are also encouraged to provide a short promotional drop announcing their scheduled appearance.
