About the Album
Killing Time is an eight-track collection that captures Fubar moving freely between battle rap, diss records, horrorcore, mythology, dark humor, and introspection. The title works as both an expression of boredom and a description of the music itself: writing becomes the way Fubar passes time while lyrically dismantling opponents, inventing monsters, exploring fictional worlds, and confronting the darker corners of his own mind.
Tracks like “Killing Time,” “Delusional,” and “After the Laughter” channel conflict outward through ridicule and battle rap, while “Whatever Comes to Mind” and “Infinite Maze” reveal writing as catharsis for isolation, uncertainty, regret, and an overactive consciousness. Elsewhere, “The Killer Chef,” “Realm of Myth,” and the posse cut “Frankenstein’s Monsters” turn horror films, mythology, comics, and larger-than-life characters into lyrical playgrounds.
Rather than following a single narrative, Killing Time is held together by the personality behind it: restless, aggressive, imaginative, philosophical, and constantly compelled to write. It is essentially a record about what happens when Fubar has too much on his mind and enough time to put it on paper.
