About the Album

The album cover is a sketch of the photograph of myself holding a paper plane above my head, signifying the importance of believing in oneself, contextualized in a reinterpretation of so many folks who sign with Paper Planes/Roc Nation and take a photo of themselves in front of the neon sign. I intentionally capitalized the A in the title, so the acronym then becomes MMAPP, which is what we make for ourselves when navigating this realm as independent artists prioritizing expression and freedom over extrinsic validation.
