About the Album
No Savior Coming is a seven-track concept album about what happens when you stop waiting for something outside of yourself to fix what’s broken. Across the project, Fubar examines different forms of false or incomplete salvation, including religion and institutions, physical escape, emotional suppression, success, work, composure, and control, along with the damage that can remain underneath them.
The album’s central idea is simple: external rescue cannot substitute for internal confrontation and integration. That doesn’t mean people, relationships, faith, art, or community can’t help. It means none of them can do the internal work in your place. No Savior Coming moves from betrayal and inherited trauma through buried anger, anxiety, and survival mechanisms before arriving at something less like perfect recovery and more like acceptance. Healing begins when you stop waiting to be rescued and start confronting, understanding, and integrating what you’ve been carrying all along.
