Hardware Store Massacre
About the Single
Verdugos is an underground hip-hop collective consisting of Fubar, Rawfael, xodoubleh, and the late producer Ben Dead, whose production provides the foundation for the group's sound.
"Hardware Store Massacre", featuring ILLTemper and produced by Ben Dead, is the first single from the group's upcoming album.
The track delivers an aggressive dose of underground horrorcore, built around the idea that sophisticated weaponry isn't necessary when everyday tools can be just as destructive. Drawing inspiration from classic slasher films, the song transforms ordinary items into instruments of mayhem, combining graphic imagery, dark humor, and unapologetically vicious lyricism.
This release also carries a special significance.
Today, October 21, 2026, marks exactly one year since Ben Dead passed away following his battle with cancer.
Ben Dead, who was also Rawfael's brother, produced every beat on the upcoming Verdugos album. His work is an integral part of this project, and although he is no longer with us, his creativity and musical contributions remain very much alive through the music.
