This album is inspired by AZ, with the luxuriousness of Serf's lush production instantly transporting me to that state of mind.
Serf posted about prepping a new beat tape, so I hit him up to let him know that if he ever wanted a random verse/track on there, I'd be happy to drop something. He then told me I'd been someone he'd been looking to work with, but I was so busy he figured he'd wait a while. The project was initially just going to be a handful of tracks, but then expanded to 11, with me calling on dope friends to contribute (JON?DOE, Jeff Spec, and G Fam Black with verses, DJ Navin Johnson with cuts), then sent it to post with my man Tali Rodriguez, the genius behind so much of what I do.
The title came about because of executive producer JS Rivera, who some may know as Royalty OGTCH's son, having a bit of a time saying my rap name. What better way to celebrate my first executive produced album than have it unknowingly overseen/titled by a kid? Kids rule. I'm going to send a tape to his dad, because being an executive producer is a big deal.

Our Brother (and Sole Producer of this album) Carnage passed away on 3-25-18, and the pain still reverberates to this day, in our hearts and souls.
The best way to honor his musical legacy was to finish the projects we set out to create with him at the production helm.
This is the first of those projects, released on the 6th anniversary of his passing.... Maximum Carnage!
Shout out to S.H.E.N. (aka Carnage's brother) for his blessing and support to continue Carnage's musical legacy posthumously, as it would have been what he wanted.
This if the first of four projects to be released within the next year (projects with Q.U.E.S.T., Last Measure and myself are next on deck).
